Arches, Vaults, and Domes (AVD)

Artisan Desing Build LLC is one of last remaining designers and builders of traditional arch, vault, and dome (AVD) structures. Considered part of an architectural cultural heritage, authentic domes and vaulted structures are seldom seen in contemporary buildings. It is becoming a lost art. 

We aim to keep this masonry tradition alive and bring it to new levels, in the spirit of the great dome builders of antiquity.

We offer our customers many types of domes and vaulted ceilings to choose from, depending on the client's requirements.

Our work speaks for itself. We have built parabolic arches, catenary barrel vaults, sail vaults, conical domes, hemispherical domes, loxodrome structures, and other complex works that is seldom seen today. Our works come from a deep respect for the masonry traditions of vernacular master dome builders (bovederos) who have come before us.

We can also produce fired brick products using traditional kilns, such as fired brick, saltillo tile, and terracotta roof tile
